2002
Trafficland was founded in 2002 (business concept, business plan, searching for investors).
2003
20 June 2003 was created Trafficland Ltd. to import different types of telecommunication hardware (including SIM-cards, mobile equipment and others) and to provide a set of associated services including system integration and consulting.
2004
From the beginning of 2004 the company started software development activity, which has become one of the most important now.
In April 2004 the WiTS™ platform for OTA Management of SIM-cards was released and already in one month time Trafficland made the first WiTS™ installation.
In September 2004 STEM™ - server software for mobile terminal management - was released. In June 2004 Trafficland started advanced project for creation
outsourcing of OTA campaigns.
In H2/2004 Trafficland became a member of GSM Association, started its activities in content distribution field and implemented activities in content distribution field and implemented its first project abroad.
2005
H1/2005 branch office in Khabarovsk was founded. During 2005 a number of successful projects were completed, and was founded JV “Trafficland-Mongolia”.
2006
At the beginning of 2006 Trafficland started commercial service of a unique platform of Mobile Multicasting –
WIMcast™ at the technical base of its partner OOO “Mixx” (
www.mixx.ru).
In March 2006 Trafficland started expansion to the Central Asia. At the same time a distribution agreement with Franco-Danish Atchik-Realtime was signed.
In April, for “SvyazExpocom-2006” a new product had been released – internetwork content router ICRo™.
In June 2006 Trafficland became a Supporter member of Open Mobile Alliance (OMA).
2007
In fourth quarter of 2006 and up-to-date Trafficland successfully realizes its newest concept of content delivery to mobile subscribers. Developed and launched in 2006 WIMcast™ mobile multimedia broadcast platform started to conquer mobile operators in Russia – from Central and Volga macro regions to Ural and Siberia. Besides, mobile media multicasting was launched in Mongolia.
During this spring Trafficland started to develop a bunch of new products – mobile communities’ support system MoCoNa™ and mobile dispatch system MODISP™ for taxi and courier companies. These products are in the final phase of testing at the moment and will be launched till the end of the year.
